Was it a family session, a proposal, or an engagement session? The answer is YES! Adam had been planning this “family photo session” for weeks! All Kaylyn knew is that her immediate family who lived close by were coming to one of their favorite locations (Kairos Resort) for a few family photos. Little did she know that Adam’s sister was flying in from Chicago and other family members were also coming to watch her get engaged! The session started by Kaylyn’s family “running late” for photos, so we “decided” to take a few couples photos of the two of them while we waited. We already preplanned a special pose for the two of them so Adam would know when it was time to pop the question! Before you knew it he was down on one knee, and Kaylyn was jumping up and down with a hearty “YES!” Afterwards we took the real family photos, a few freshly engaged photos, and then we enjoyed soup and sandwiches at Kaylyn’s grandma’s house. This is a day that we won’t soon forget, and we cannot wait to capture more engagement photos of these two in downtown Charlotte soon! 💍💛
